PEP’s Prime Employee Recognition Award (The PEPPER Award) has been established as an annual award to honor an employee who goes above and beyond their normal responsibilities. This person effectively advances PEP’s mission, fosters growth in our consumers and programming, volunteers for extra duties without complaint, and motivates others to succeed.
Each year the PEP staff is given the opportunity to nominate who they believe is the most qualified fellow staff person to receive the PEPPER Award. This year the PEPPER Award Committee had a tough decision to make because there were so many qualified candidates to choose from. But in the end, the staff person the committee decided on was hands down the best qualified and most deserving person of the nominations.
A one of PEP’s Employment Specialists, Robert has been described by fellow staff members as the number 1 team player, showing great team work doing whatever it took to carry out PEP’s mission. He leads by example, by taking pride in what he does, he has motivated the employment team to do the best that they can for our individuals. Robert has a strong work ethic going above and beyond expectations to ensure that our individuals have the very best opportunity to finding a job, then giving his best effort to enable them to be successful. His positive, honest and dedicated approach to his job enhances the well-rounded staff person that Robert has become, and it shows in the success our individuals have found in reaching their goals.
